Toaster does its job; it toasts well and evenly. For the price, however, there should be a button to determine how many sides of the toaster heat. As it is, even with one slice of toast in the toaster, the whole toaster heats up- a waste of energy. AND, the toaster exterior gets quite hot. Be careful! The exterior IS stainless steel, but the face plates of the stainless steel are not polished at the seams. For the price, there should be better craftsmanship.
