The block slides across the counter easily which makes it difficult to sharpen my knives safely. The knives also had a couple snags in the surface at first use which was bad for the blade. Still happy with over all performance

DMT manufactured stones are the best. Started my kitchen knives on this and worked up to the extra fine. Theyre now razor sharp, sharper than when they came from the factory.
