Was really excited for this. It is really the only electric portable ice cream roll maker on the market. Unfortunately, it isn't as cold as it should be. Takes a very long time to get the ice cream cold enough to roll

It works ok, but it doesnt stay cold enough long enough to finish the ice cream off. You must put the ice cream in freezer immediately or it melts to fast.

I've always wanted to make ice cream rolls, but never quite figured out how to do it. This is exactly what I wanted. It took some trial and error with the right type of mixture (I use more than 30% fat) to work for this style of ice cream. Took little fat and it tends to be brittle and not rollable. The machine itself is perfect. Cools the top plate very quickly once turned on. Make sure you're ready to go when it starts to freeze. Overall a great party centerpiece. I bring it to other dinner parties as well and do tableside ice cream rolls. Everyone loves it.
