I just opened the Asay airplane cocktail shaker that took 11 days to receive and it’s broken/defective. One of the 3 stabilizer wings was missing. Well, that is it was floating inside the package. It appears as if It was never soldered to the the piece. The packaging and shipping was excellent, properly wrapped in tissue and its custom shaped Styrofoam in original packaging so the damage did not occur from shipping. Additionally, it is made by Godinger and is made of nickel plating. The description states it is made of stainless steel and does not state it is made by Godinger. It’s definitely not stainless steel. So if you’re looking for the Godinger airplane shaker here it is. Of course it’s a Christmas gift and Wayfair customer service is not available on a Sunday evening to answer if I will get a replacement in time, if at all. I have to wait to hear from them tomorrow for any resolution. The only automated response was for free replacement parts? How is that going to work for a defective cocktail shaker??? I paid $65.00 which I thought was a great deal for stainless steel as it was advertised. But, the price is about right for the nickel plated Godinger version and I will say I would have been satisfied if it was not broken. It’s nice looking, sturdy enough, and fun piece for any Martini luving flight crew.

Looks perfect and is a great piece for the bar.
