This flatware set is simply elegant and feels solid and heavy, unlike some of the cheaper-feeling sets I have used at various social gatherings and friends' homes. Mine has worn well and has not rusted. I actually have one set that I hand wash and dry and keep in my buffet for dinner parties so the pieces don't get scratched from going into the sink with other items and stacked in my utensil drawer, and another set for everyday use in my kitchen utensil drawer, where the pieces get handled more loosely.
