I am a glassworker. DO NOT BUY THIS GLASS. This is meant to be tempered glass. It is unstable glass. Somewhere in the melting /cooling process something is going wrong. This glass will spontaneously shatter just sitting in the cupboard. Real danger of glass shard injury. I have informed Wayfair of this? Should not be sold.

Very pretty, but I am finding that they break easily. I've had two dished break in my dishwasher. It's a shame because they are great looking. Can't use them for daily use.

These are really great looking plates. I love that they are made in Egypt. It's unfortunate that one of the large plates broke. Not from a drop. It was in the sink and a couple of cups were laced on it. Later that night I saw that it was shattered. My only other comment is that while I do like the bowls. It depends what you plan on using them for. They are somewhat shallow. I wish they had a different bowl or at least a option to get a larger and deeper bowl that matched the set. I would still buy them again.
