Well I'll definitely say that it looks exactly like the pictures... The issue is, just as reviewers have said, the bowls are comically impractical. What is considered as the soup bowl is too shallow and narrow to really offer much soup. You wouldn't even be able to get a full serving size of cereal in it without it being precariously snug fit. I would compare it to what restaurants would describe as a cup of soup or maybe used for a serving of ice cream. As far as the extra broad shallow bowl... Decent for something like stew, but to use that for a soup would feel a bit odd. If the smaller bowls were a normal size, I would say that this was a five-star set, but those really made such a huge difference in my opinion of it. Also you have to pay for the return cost so I'm not even going to bother and just deal with it and maybe find some normal size bowls. All in all, pretty disappointing but still useful and workable. It's at least gorgeous!
Updated review.... Bumped up a star because the shallow wide bowls are actually pretty ok to use. Better than expected for soup but does feel a bit precarious. The smaller bowls are still not ideal but are good for dessert or small portions. If the smaller bowls were deeper I would consider this a 5 star purchase
