Best chuck pot roast ever! Tender and flavorful. I used directions in recipe book that came with the sous vide. Love it!

I love this sous vide! My first experiment, an intimate dinner for 6, I made 6 prime ribs rosemary and kosher salt steaks to medium rare. I popped them in the water 3 hours before the guest arrived. Showered, dried my hair, (yes, got dressed), put out some fabulous apps, lite the candles and opened some wine. I put 6 filets of salmon on 1/2 way through the apps and put on the broiler. Both mains ready to be seared. Both dishes beautifully cooked! ( my veg took a little too long...timing off with the change in water temp between the the fish-veg...about 15 minutes longer than i expected. Since my first use i have cooked duck, chicken, and lots of veg. I love that i set the time and temp, put my food in and go!! Literally out the door with my 3 dogs for a 1-2 hour walk! Or, i vacuum, or do laundry etc...the point is...I can leave my kitchen and not worry about anything burning or catching on fire. It takes me about 15 mins to sear my protein, through together a salad, and cook the vege with almost no clean up.....Crazy awesome!
