This knife sharpener is sufficient if you're nervous about the handheld one like I am. I will say, it does not seen to make the knife super sharp, so don't expect slices like Chef Ramsey or anything. I tried it on our old dull Butcher's knife and it definitely made it better. But not as sharp as our expensive Damascus knife for which we will not use this sharpener. If you have a few older knives that are super dull, this will get them back up and working properly.

It’s not a very large appliance and is small enough to be tucked away in a drawer when not in use. It has a removable plate to clean out the metal swarf. This is a convenient useful item to own.

Convenient kitchen tool to have. Sharpens my knives well. Although you do have to make multiple passes in the first stage for duller knives. Makes a noticeable difference in the knives. Easy to use and store. Very compact and user friendly.
