Thermomètre numérique à viande sans fil avec commande APP

Very cool device. It comes with two probes but can use a total of four. It takes 2 AA batteries (not included) Make sure to download the app, otherwise it’s just another temp gauge. The app allows you to set time based alarms and notifications based on meat type and temps. Really takes the guess work out of ensuring correct doneness. Also allows me to prove to my wife that the chicken breast is the proper temp!!!

This was just what I needed. My thermometer broke on my grill and this was a great way to replace it. The app is really easy to use. I like my meat on the rarer side and the steak came out perfect. I would recommend.

I don’t have a lot of experience with digital thermometers, but my impression is that there must be better designs than this one. The good news is that it seems to read the temperature, but I didn’t have a calibrated thermometer to compare. There are a number of things that made it less than ideal. To change the setting from Celsius to Fahrenheit, you must connect the app. The app is Chinese in origin which may be disconcerting for some. While the monitor has one way to mount (a long bolt with a washer and nut) it would be better to have a clip-mount, a strap mount, or at least one other method to account for varying grill structures. All that being said, I could not mount it to my grill.
