The power of this blender is great. But the design is severely flawed. A corner tab broke off the lid, and this corner has a small pin that goes into the handle to make the whole device work. So now I use a chopstick to make it run. The handle is also hollow, so if you put it in the wash or something drops into the tiny hole, the handle gets food/water in it and grows mold. Love the power but would not buy due to other design flaws.

I experienced the same issues with the Lid as the previous reviewer. The tab broke off the lid and you do not have a replacement lid only the entire carafe. It is unfortunate because the blender is very good.

that ridiculous lid is trash, stupid design and broke fast!!

I like the blender but it's designed very poorly, that plastic lid part broke twice and the handle collects all the leftover gunk with no way possibly to clean it. Horrible design! DO NOT BUY!

Cheap plastic lid broke and can't buy just the lid so you have to add the jug to landfill and purchase exactly the same cheap breakable lid with big jug for a high price.
