Bob Kramer/A Henckels have exceeded my expectations in creating this fabulous honing steel. I work in retail cutlery, being very familiar with many of the top brands, but this honing steel is beyond words. It has the perfect balance in length and weight, smoothness and durability. I honed a number of neglected knives with it and the blades are sharper than ever, without having to use a sharpener. I highly recommend it.

Works perfectly, long enough for most blades.

This is convenient for every-day sharpening. The dual sharpening surface requires a little attention to detail, but it delivers a nice edge.
