Ordered this Diamond Steel for my nephew (chef) for Christmas. He sharpens my knives and said he needed a new Diamond Steel. I chose this one because he complimented my Zwilling JA Henckel Knives.

Best honing tool I've ever used to keep knives sharpened. I work in retail cutting meats and vegetables and this hone works on all knives we use.

Just received the honing rod. I purchased for some high carbon steel knives where the recommendation for edge maintenance needed to ceramic or Diamond. I haven't used it yet as the knives are very sharp and not in need of honing as of yet. Product is as described and was shipped quickly. I can't speak for performance thought it this honing rod is from a well known, high quality knife manufacturer so I have high expectations on performance. I gave 4 stars without using it or knowing about durability/longevity.
