[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this Blender because I wanted to make smoothies using frozen fruit. I had been using a giant blender that was doing the job, but it was a real pain taking it out of the cupboard every time I wanted to use it because it took up an enormous amount of room. Then my Compact Blender arrived. It was perfect. It took up no room at all and I could leave it out on the counter of my apartment-sized kitchen. And then I put in the frozen fruit, the honey vanilla yogurt, and added a small amount of soy vanilla milk, pressed the button and the power of this little thing just blew me away! Then, NOT even having to put the smoothie into yet another cup, I had to use a spoon to drink/eat it because it was so thick. I should note that I used some honey for sweetener, but on the occasions that I added a banana, no honey was necessary. Now that I think about, tonight I will use a frozen banana. And sometimes I added some ice cream as I was eating it. Several minutes later, after it started to melt, I switched to a smoothie straw. As a person who watches her calories, this produces a treat that I never think twice about. I purchased this little wonder about three months ago, have used it every single day, and never looked back. Treat yourself!. Jody Chaitovitz. Tue Oct 06 2026
