I decided to try this jumbo silicone muffin pan by Hongbake/BronyPro. I can never seem to keep steel baking pans nice for very long, and I wanted to see if I would maybe have better luck with a silicon pan.
My initial thought was “OMG – they are huge!” And I was afraid they were a little TOO big with a 3.5-inch opening (tapers down to about 3.2 inches). But I soon realize that this pan is an innovative addition to my kitchen!
A few things to keep in mind…due to the silicon base if it recommended to place the pan on a flat cookie sheet pan while using. The cooking times may also be a little longer due to the silicon. This pan is hand wash only, but washes clean easily with just dish liquid and a dish rag.
My first creation was delicious egg bakes with hash-brown bottoms. OMG! So good! Then I made individual cheesecakes for a “kid at heart” birthday gathering! This pan would also be perfect for lava cakes, as well as jumbo muffins. I can’t wait to see what I cook up next! :). Jamie. Flower Mound, TX. Sun Aug 09 2026
