I purchased this clock for a wedding gift for my brother in law, who is an airplane mechanic. It is the perfect size to hang above their fireplace. The clock is quite small and cannot be read from across a large room. By looking at the display photo, it is quite obvious how small the actual clock is, so keep that in mind if you are looking at this piece. I bought this piece more so for the plane, and thought the clock was a nice feature. The plane is quite sturdy, with the option of hanging keys or other light items on the hooks that hang from under the plane.
