Rod looks just as pictured, I would have preferred it to be a little sturdier. We used it for its maximum length and it gets a little weak at the joint

Wonderful piece to add to the office. Well made but I’ve extended it as far as it can go. Unfortunately it sags in the middle. I wish it came with an additional bracket.
