I bought them in black. Very unusual. They attract a lot of attention. They are very sturdy and well made. I recommend highly.

While I did think the item was beautiful, it did arrive broken. All Modern's customer service was very quick to act. I think this would look great on a larger piece of furniture so plan accordingly. It is quite large to put on a dainty dresser or nightstand. I also think it looks best with white candles.
