Cute, but no instructions as to how you are supposed to stick your hand way inside to insert the battery. You can't see the battery compartment really, so no idea which end is which with respect to the battery. I ended up pretty much "removing" the clock to see what I was doing. I managed to get the clock back in its position place, but it was difficult; trial and error. Not a user-friendly design feature. Also, the clock face itself is at a considerable slow to conform to the slope of the kettle, I guess. In my opinion, the clock could have jutted out more and closer to a 90-degree angle, this improving viewing of the clock face. My clock is placed on the top of a hutch, which exacerbates this pitch and slope of the face with respect to a clear view.

I love my new clock, it is perfect for my new farmhouse deco!
