This is a very attractive wooden tray. It has dark grain wood and feels fairly sturdy. It is not overly heavy and I wouldn’t say it looks like a really expensive wood but it is attractive and is reasonably good quality as well. We’re happy with this purchase.

The serving tray is cheaply made and doesn't feel like it will hold anything heavy. I put empty cigar boxes on it because that's what feels like will not break the bottom of the tray. I'm really disappointed with the construction and quality of this. I was hoping for a better made sturdy wooden tray. The word "wood" is also a misrepresentation too. It is particle board not wood. The bottom part of the tray doesn't seem like it is "locked" into the rest of the piece either, which makes me more concerned with placing heavier objects on it. My fear is whatever heavier item is on it might go through the bottom of it and not only break the tray but the breakable as well. Very disappointed with this purchase.

The first photo is not my photo its the product photo. You can clearly see there are open handles and a bit of style with the goldbrass rivets on the corners. That is not what I received. I received a plain, rectangle tray without handles or corner rivets. My friend was visiting when I opened the package and said she was surprised that I ordered something so basic and plain. I was, too, and thats why I had to go back and look at the product photo. While its a nice-sized wooden (not solid wood) tray, its just not anything I ever would have ordered, and even my friends know that.

Nice tray. It is a good weight and will be holding mugs and tea bags in my office. It could be used for a variety of different purposes. It is an attractive dark brown color as pictured. It will be easy to clean too.
