This hurricane lamp is very attractive and well-made. In the picture you see a very large candle inside of it however the base of the glass opening is very small. So I am only able to play small votive candles inside. Be sure to use a votive candle with its own tray or else the melted wax will cause you to have problems.

Love this little lamp! It is perfect on a small porch table or on the mantle with other items. The dimpled glass seems heavy-duty and fits well into the base. I have a two inch votive candle in there but you could have one a little taller if you wished. This is a keeper.
