This is straight red, not at all a burgundy

The weight is nice, the size is great (I have a king sized bed and it falls over the sides with room to spare), but it is shedding all over my dark green duvet. I am going to continue loving it because it looks beautiful on the bed.

I got the dark green and it’s beautiful. It does easily snag if you have cats so be ready for it not to stay beautiful. It’s very soft and is really big. I got the king and it’s more than large enough to hang over the sides.

I am very pleased with this cotton blanket. It has a nice texture, and the quality was what I expected/hoped for, from the photo. It is light weight, for spring/summer, when a little bit more than a sheet is called for. I washed it right away ( - I do this with almost all sheets and other new bedding - ) and yes, as I believe some other reviewer mentioned, there is a great deal of lint generated in the dryer, presumably just the first two, maybe three the blanket is washed. This was not a problem for me, I just scooped the load of lint out of my dryer's lint catcher. ( - And, I made sure to dry a load of WHITES right after, rather than a load of Darks. After that, my load of darks dried just fine, i.e. without cotton lint all over them.)
