Not usable for the reason purchased. First, the shape is materially different than the images. This could be due to one-off, hand-made conditions; but that was not mentioned. There is no hole in the bottom, suggesting that it is not made to hold live plants. Even if it could, the opening at the top would make it problematic. There is a sticker on the bottom that states, "For decorative purposes only," whatever that means. For me, it is totally useless. Will be returning.
