Amazing mask. I ordered this even though the previous review was not the best. This item was a huge hit as a 45th birthday gift. Looks awesome in the guest room.

I realize this mask was a cheap price, but I expected at least a little bit of quality. You really do get what you pay for... When I recieved the mask, it already had wood chipping off of it, and several of the nails that hold the “metal” parts of the mask onto the wood parts had already fallen out. I say “metal” because those parts are more like a thick tinfoil type consistency and feel. On top of that the mask was EXTREMELY dirty. If this was an antique, I would understand the dirt, but it’s not. I used a stiff bristle brush to attempt to get some of the layers of dirt and dust off, and eventually gave up. It was too dusty to bring into my home. Lastly, the color is way off from what the pictures look like in the listing. Overall, this mask is most definitely cheaply made with low quality materials and nails (which can be seen all over the mask). I would like to really enjoy this mask because it is handmade by an artist in Africa, but unfortunately it completely misses the mark and, in my eyes, is a complete piece of garbage that I cannot enjoy or utilize : (
