Absolutely stunning clock and looks beautiful on my mantel. It is also truly silent unlike the 'silent' one it replaced (I could hear ticking across a quiet room while trying to read). It is so quiet that when I inserted the battery I thought it was broken (it does not have a second hand which is not really a problem) . I had put my ear against the face to hear even the faintest ticking. Wonderful for shabby chic or cottage looks but also for the noise sensitive!

It’s super cute and functional, but the clock face is not lined up correctly so the numerals are slightly off from straight. This really bothers my OCD. I had also wanted to place it on a coffee table, but the battery doesn’t have a cover. I don’t want a battery showing. So I had to put it on an end table facing a wall
