Used this to hang the shade cloth purchased for the patio this summer and it's durable enough to withstand the summer heat and the winter snow & temps. Easy to use and affordable! Pros: Fits perfectly between the weave without having to destroy the fabric - BIG plus!! Cons: Ends need singed to prevent fraying, but that was expected.

This is sturdy cord. The needle is well made and strong. Although it is more work to lace up a shade cloth than it is to use tie wraps, it seems worth it as I think the cord will stand up to uv and weather damage much longer.
