I love this blanket! It's so soft and cuddly! I have one in the cream color and it totally fits the bill! My only con with this blanket is that it sheds a bit but hopefully that will stop. It's also bigger than I expected but that's makes it more cozy.

This throw is the softest blanket. It's extra warm, but the velvety side is amazing! The softness just makes you feel instantly warm and cozy. One of our little ones curled up in it Christmas day, and was soon napping. I have the burgundy red, which is a very rich beautiful color, and the real-life color is very similar to what is pictured. (My photo makes it look less burgundy) Be sure to read the size, as it is a nice size throw, not quite big enough for a bed blanket. Note in my photo that the packaging, although not see through, clearly states what is in the package so if you want it for a surprise gift, have it shipped elsewhere.

This lovely throw came vacuumed packed for a small shipping footprint. The dual-sided design has plush faux rabbit fur with stripes on one side and velvet on the other. It’s warm without being too heavy. At 50" × 70", it can fit two small kids or on adult comfortably. Plus, the quality is impressive—no shedding, pilling, or static cling. Highly recommend.
