I thought they had strips of material sewn together to make the pattern. It is dyed material for the design. I purchased two. The pillows look less expensive than I thought they would. I kept them only because I had not found a similar pattern anywhere else.

I didn’t even receive this product. Instead of 2 of these pillows I ordered, I was sent 2 blank pillow inserts.
