[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a matte silver single curtain rod that is made from a mix of thin metal and plastic. I was surprised how light it was when it arrived and worried it would not be sturdy enough, however have been pleasantly surprised. The box arrived beat up, but thankfully the rod and pieces were fine! They included the rod in two pieces, the plastic ends (finials), three hanging brackets, screws and drywall anchors, screws that hold the rod in the brackets, and an instructions sheet. Thankfully I have hung curtain rods before and also consider myself to be an occasional handy-person because if I had never done this before or didn’t have a desire to try and learn, the instructions would have been horrible. They did not provide detailed step-by-step instructions to help if you weren’t familiar with the process (spacing, drilling process, screwdriver length or type), weight restrictions, or size of hole for drywall anchors. It also would have been nice to have a guide or template for the three wall brackets. Following the process of hanging it though, I have really enjoyed it! I like the silver matte finish and the plastic ends that shine and reflect light! We have very light and sheer decorative curtains hanging on it so I can’t attest to how much weight it can hold, but it has been sturdy with those and moving them back and forth. Overall very happy with it and the look! However, I would probably look at heavier, more durable, and weight tolerant options if I was looking to buy new rods or rods that would be holding heavy/light blocking curtains.

It also stretches out really well for a universal fit. It definitely helped give a beautiful finished aesthetic. I would definitely buy again.
