These are beautiful drapes. Solid, thick and soft. The colors are as shown. The material was described as velvet, which was a concern to me. But it’s not the velvet from your grandma’s house. It’s just a soft material. The 108” long drapes were a bit too long, but I folded the bottom hem up once and safety pinned them on the back. A lazy way to hem, but definitely not easy, since the material is so thick! I had considered getting out my sewing machine, but I’m not sure a standard home machine would’ve been able to get through these. I am very happy with the purchase and would buy them again.

The pattern and colors are great for our coastal property! These are what I have been looking for. They do not provide much room darkening but they do keep the bright sun glare out of the room and help keep the room cool as well.
