This Lourde solid blackout pinch pleat curtain panel came extremely well packaged to prevent rips or damage: each panel is wrapped lengthwise in clear plastic, then placed in a decorative sturdy white "Eastern Accents" box with handle, which is placed inside an outer shipping carton/box. I ordered 6 panels for my master bedroom, due to abundant windows with Southern exposure (therefore needed blackout curtains to block all natural light and streetlights). While these curtain panels are extremely expensive $$$, their exceptional quality, attention to detail, excellent workmanship far exceeded my expectations. The material is hefty, lined for blackout light conditions, the velvet finish is gorgeous, the colour- a subdued cool sage green - is a good neutral which complements alot of different colourways, its design is simplistic with no adornment which gives a refined elegant look. This Lourde curtain panel looks like "custom made" designer drapes, top-notch quality. I believe these will last a long time, with minimal care-vacuum dust along pleats and hems periodically and dry clean, only if needed. Highly recommended!!
