Smaller and much lighter weight than I thought it would be. But I do keep it on my sofa for when my grandson comes to visit. He is 5 and loves how soft it is. So a big plus if you have younger ones at home or that visit often.

This is a lightweight blanket that serves either as a very light throw, or as a soft cat bed if you fold it several times. I actually did order this for my cat since she likes the feel of Sherpa fabric, so I was not disappointed with the weight. She gives this blanket four paws up!
