My partner and I (and our cat) love this blanket. Not only does it look nice on it's own right, it feels amazingly soft. The power cable detaches nicely and as the internal wiring isn't quite as obvious to the eyes or the touch, it works as a better standalone blanket as compared to some of the cheaper options available. It is a wonderful size for two people sitting on the couch together. The warm setting was warmer than we anticipated, so for most occasions, it's perfect for our needs. This is a much needed improvement over our generic blanket that just died on us!
