I have a Florida Room, that already has a very large canvas of the City of Nice with strong, vibrant, energetic colors and I was looking for a companion piece to match. The Florida Room is the room my family eats in and it has full sun most of the day. I was looking for a piece of art that reflected fun and joy, as meals were meant to be. I wanted a picture with bold colors, because otherwise, the art would look washed out in our full sun exposure. The Provence Cafe is a perfect compliment and an exact color, and subject match to the original picture I had already purchased. The work has a definite European flair, a lady seated having coffee at a small intimate bistro table in an old historic French village. The reds, golds and hunter greens are striking.
