I was not happy with these. If you buy the middle size for the smallest window, it works, but if you buy the actual size listed for the window, the expansion shows on the bare rod when the curtains are open and it looks bad. Also, if you buy close to the right size, when you slide the curtains open, the rod comes apart and the curtains fall. I thought I would try my next-size-up theory for the larger window & bought the largest size for middle-sized windows, but it did not work; the expansion shows and it looks cheap. I had bought these for the whole house and returned them.

Easy to put together and black with some faded areas but on purpose. Cute and simple.

These are beautiful and just what I needed, I did have to return the short rods and get longer ones so that I did not see the attachment in the middle, and to accommodate the extra six inches I needed to leave on each side of the window.
