Overall, this pattern/color was just as neutral but bright as I needed it to be. In person, I'd say the colors are a little dim, but against a white wall with excellent lighting, this was fine. Finish is more eggshell if that's what you're looking for (and my general preference when designing). The floating reveal along the perimeter is about 1/8". With a natural frame, this would have been fine, but on black I wish the reveal was more closer to 1/4" just for better definition. This is my only negative about this particular item in black. (to be clear, I wanted black, and wont do the natural). Very happy with this product!
