Nearly great. If there is such a thing as industrial marble, this is it. it's handsome, strong, has a mix of angles, and it's functional. But it's not perfect — and if you're fine with that, then you'll be happy with it. I'm showing in the photos how I'm using it, which is to display a set of tumbled mineral stones in the bowl. The dark-grey framing portions almost appear to be concrete from a distance but they're also made of marble, just a bit less finished.
the imperfections have to do with where the light-grey/white bowl sits in, and connects to the dark grey frame. The cut of the frame is just very very hard to get totally right — at this price anyway. There's some slightly uneven parts, likewise with how the bowl sits in the frame from the top. This is a heavy piece, and for most of us that's probably part of the attraction, but unless it's more hand-finished (and would cost 3x the price) I think it's challenging to get all the fits and corners perfect, and it's probably good enough for most of us, as a distinctive decor piece.
