Shade performs exactly as advertised. Its probably best used in light use areas so that it isn't subjected to constant raising and lowering as the material is lightweight.

You get what you pay for with this. The blind is simply wrapped in paper and shipped; no box. So the first arrived severely bent. I went ahead and sent it back and had another one sent. The next one arrived damaged as well with a 20 degree bend. Fortunately, I was able to straighten it somewhat without creasing the metal. I got it hung. I know I will not be able to open and close it as it will break so just have to leave it closed. If you need a permanent sunblock shade and ok with taking the chance on shipping damage, then it is ok.

I really love the shades. They work and look great.

Received it with three dents in it and it had to be trashed! Got Money back! Waste of time to order it.
