A Match Made in Heaven holds an idyllic world within a palm sized vessel of LIULI, where heaven and earth unfold through the graceful language of Taiji. Within its rounded form, qi rises and settles, yin and yang move in quiet balance, and a sense of wholeness is gathered within crystal.
Bamboo and plum blossom grow in graceful accord, symbolizing humility, virtue, resilience, and renewal. Among them perch five small birds, representing the Five Elements in harmony and bringing a feeling of balance, joy, and companionship. Through the interplay of open space and form, the work breathes with life, order, and quiet beauty.
As a gift, A Match Made in Heaven conveys unity, completeness, and lasting companionship. It is especially meaningful for weddings, housewarmings, and blessings for enduring relationships, carrying wishes of harmony, fulfilment, peace, and long lasting togetherness.
