Couverture 100% coton Waffle Weave

Purchased for my son's bed. Light weight. The bed is a three-quarter bed, so an odd size. Double/queen sizes swallow this bed. So I ordered the twin XL size. Not perfect, but still has enough fabric to hang some over the sides and extra to tuck under the mattress at the foot of the bed. Washes well.

There’s something about a cotton waffle weave blanket. We’ve got one on every bed in the house! Love the color of this one (Aqua), it’s beautiful. It’s still a little stiff feeling, even after the first wash, but I have no doubt it’ll continue to soften over time. It’s a touch small length-wise for our king bed, but it still works!

This blanket is great for hot summer nights, or underneath a comforter for extra warmth in the winter. It's not as thick or soft as I expected it to be, but it works well if you're a hot sleeper. I love that it’s 100% cotton and not polyester that's replaced most of the natural fibers that used to be used to make bedding. The color is true to what the pictures show in the listing.
