I Bought to my library, and it’s perfect

I ordered these twice and both times, the quality was poor primarily because of the black spots on the base and top of the bookend. The staining could not be rubbed off and made the productunuseable. Disappointing

The gold of the bookends aren’t as shiny metallic as they appear in the photo. It’s more of a deep brown gold. It’s a nice quality. If you’re trying to compliment surrounding established metallic gold pieces, this isn’t necessarily in the shade range to be side-by-side, is all.

these look nice enough from a distance closer they look like gold-painted resin and not like brass, though. they also aren’t super heavy and could slide. there are heavier alternatives if you need something ti stay in olace to hold up a lot of stubborn books.

Perfect accent pieces for my antique book collection! Definitely recommend!
