This ready to hang, gallery-wrapped art piece features trees standing around the shore of a lake. Pierre Leclerc learned to appreciate nature and the great outdoors from an early age. His adventurous, free-spirited nature took him to the west coast of Canada, Hawaii, and Ireland, residing in each location for several years. The healthy lifestyle and majestic wilderness of British Columbia are what brought him back to Vancouver. Pierre's photographs have been published worldwide in a large variety of media ranging from newspapers, magazines, books, calendars, national TV broadcasting, and on the cover of Canadian Geographic magazine. Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high-quality fine art reproductions. The attainable excellence that Giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. The result is wide acceptance of Giclee by galleries, museums, and private collectors. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured a hidden, wooden frame. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting.
