Christmas Holiday Arts - Toile tendue avec châssis

This painting is a great fit for our living room. The greens, browns, and yellows complement a variety of furniture types and works well with our color scheme. The painting evokes the tranquil serenity of a French Pastoral scene, with a pleasant composition of large gnarled trees with deer grazing underneath. After receiving the piece, we decided that we weren’t particularly in love with the gallery wrap on the sides but found that adding a frame easily addressed our issues and perfectly supplements the artwork. All in all we were pleased.

Eh. I wouldnt call it Christmas art- more of a landscape piece cheaply printed onto some REALLY shiny canvas. The back is messy but squared and stable. Its a wrapped canvas landscape, it is what it is. Good for a mud room or hunting lodge maybe- someplace where you kind of dont care about what youre putting on the wall and just want it to be sort of thematic.
