The photo and product details were misleading. It appears it was done so with intention from the vendor, since anyone who ever hold this kind of "bowl" in hand would know it obviously requires more than one photo and more dimension call (instead of 11" wide as presented). The only photo shown on the website presents to the best advantage of the item, on its longest side, turn it 90 degree it is as thin as 4" max. The shape as such is very odd and not for a bowl a customer would expect from its product description. To imagine how narrow the shape is, you don't have enough room to place an average apple in it. I don't want to pay for return fee next time this practice is repeated, out of vendor's fault in providing a clear and informative presentation of the merchandise. It's a bad practice.

I like the quality and colour of this glass bowl. It turned out to be smaller than I expected, but since it is such a lovely decorative piece, I now have it displayed in another spot than what I had originally intended, and it looks great.
