When I purchased this blanket, previous reviewers didn't mention washing instructions. For anyone wondering, I washed it in a cold gentle cycle, and dried it on low heat before letting it air dry the rest of the way outdoors. Minimal shedding, and super soft - color also as described (I ordered the tie-dye black). Great blanket for the price, looking forward to putting it on the bed tonight! Would order another.

My throw is not taupe. It is teal. Not sure why that color keeps coming up in the review
