It is like a heavy top sheet, not so much a blanket. It gives just enough weight to feel comfortable but much, much thinner than a comforter. It does feel cool and when I put it on my queen bed, it fit fine. The design is nice and it seems to be made well enough to last for a while. As you will see in the pics it has a grey underside and then a nice design on the outside. It is now Fall where I live so I don't truly need a cooling blanket right now, but I am going to try it this week and will update on here how well it keeps me cool - but considering how thin it is, I think it will be fine. UPDATE - I washed it on gentle/cold and let it air dry. It held its shape, didn't shrink and still feels cool.

The blanket is silky smooth and feels like satin on my skin. It is cold to the touch and keeps me somewhat cool while I'm sleeping. It is an odd sensation and when it is summer I think this shall be a valuable blanket.

I selected the 50”x70” cooling throw. Thought it would be nice to leave it on my leather furniture for someone’s convenience during the hot summer weather in Louisiana. It slid right off the back of every place when I draped it over the furniture. I finally folded it and it took up no room whatsoever on the corner of my sofa. The design was definitely muted and pattern of sea creatures in the gray were barely visible. Probably good to put in your auto for your child as it is very lightweight.

This blanket is the perfect weight, and is soft and comfortable. I like the colors and the fact that it really does feel cooler at night than the regular waffle blanket we were using previously. Would definitely recommend.

This blanket is awesome. I was skeptical of it being cooling but it is exactly what you would want it to be. The weight is nice and it is silky smooth. This blanket has kept me cool and comfortable. This blanket stays cool and keeps me from sweating.
