The jar is well-made with very good glazing. However, I don't particularly like the color.

Just received (one of two) today...hopefully the second arrives tomorrow. I was very pleasantly surprised to see what a beautiful jar this is. The blue glaze is a true cobalt blue, not navy, not aqua, but a beautiful true blue. It is nicely glazed and the brass lid sets it off nicely. I will use my two to anchor a sofa console table with a set of blue and white coffee table books in between them in my living room. They are very pretty, larger than I expected, which makes them even better.
