I had a 1.5 inch curtain rod, the ring on the hardware was much smaller. The color in the photo is dark, the metal on the ring was a bright pewter silver. Otherwise it seemd like a sold piece of work.

the staff is too flexible and bends when trying to move curtain which is not helpful and the clip does not clip to the curtain like it shows in the pictures. I would not purchase this item.
