We have been working on updating our kid’s bedroom over the past year to give her a more grown up space. Being a handy DIYer, I’m always on the lookout for unique thrifted pieces that can be upcycled into something awesome, and this lamp fit the bill perfectly! When I saw this wallpaper I just knew it would look great on this lamp shade and the lamp would coordinate very well with the colors in her room, so I got to work cleaning up the base and disassembling the shade which I ultimately reconstructed. Since I wanted the design to go around the lamp seamlessly, I pieced several strips of wallpaper together and then laid out the shade panels onto it before reassembling the shade. I really love how the design of the wallpaper mimic the shapes on the lamp shade and base and the colors worked perfectly which really brought this whole project together!
