This little dish is so cute! Chapstick for scale. It’s much heavier than I thought and the gold is really nice, it doesn’t look cheap or like it will flake off. I will probably use this dish for rings and small jewelry.

I love this little piece of decor. It is heavy and appears like quality (if it isn’t, I’m fooled). The gold is a nice balance of fancy and rustic in my opinion, not too shiny or fake looking. It’s cute, arguably MCM-esque, and could work in a range of locations (jewelry, door prop, bookend) for utility, but it’s nice just sitting for no reason too.

One Word! Magnificent! This figurine is stunning. But even more amazing is what it represents spiritually. Spiritual Growth, Enlightenment, and Rebirth. The fact that the artist chose cast iron and gold to create it speaks volumes; Strength adorned by Beauty. I got this for a dear friend who is currently in the hospital. She was diagnosed with stage four cancer and has been fighting it for the past year. When I saw this beautiful figurine I immediately thought of her. But, I was also led to research the nature of mushrooms, and what I learned is that mushrooms are fighters, they fight their way from the bottom to the top; through the darkness into the light. They are determined; they never give up. They don't stop moving until they reach the surface. My friend is like that, despite the medical diagnosis, despite hearing, "There's nothing more we can do?" She has not given up. She continues to fight, moving through the darkness into the light. She is a Mushroom!!! Before this, I only saw mushrooms as a tasty vegetable. Not anymore. I'd never even heard of a Golden Mushroom. Like this Magnificent figurine; they are Magnificent. I have included a picture for you.
